finished build

Two years and we're there!  We've really enjoyed experiencing the house and it's character through all four seasons.  The solar gain in winter warms the house, and the extended eave provides shade in the warmer months.   With the fire pit burning, our patio spaces are comfortable, even in late fall and the night sky without a moon feels like the stars are within reach.  Outside lighting is limited to help preserve the night view.  We really enjoy the south facing expanse as the weather in our ever changing seasons bring sun, rain, and snow, as eagles and osprey fly over the river and owls call at night.
